Arvind RP has stepped down from his role as Chief Business Officer (CBO) at McDonald’s India after serving in the position for over a year. In his role, he was responsible for managing the profit and loss for the company’s India South business while overseeing key functions including store operations, marketing, new store development, human resources, and training.

Before taking on the role of Chief Business Officer (CBO) in March 2025, he served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at McDonald’s India from July 2020 to March 2025. During this period, he led marketing, digital and e-commerce initiatives while driving brand leadership, innovation, and category growth across the South and West markets.
Earlier, he worked as Head of Marketing at McDonald’s India from January 2019 to July 2020. In this role, he focused on strengthening brand strategy and supporting the company’s marketing and growth initiatives in the country.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Arvind was Vice President Marketing at Kaya from January 2013 to January 2019. During his tenure, he led brand repositioning efforts and helped build the company’s omnichannel consumer engagement strategy while managing the beauty products business.
He also served as Head Marketing at Levi Strauss and Co from August 2009 to January 2013. In this position, he worked on brand relaunch initiatives, retail identity development, and integrated marketing campaigns, earning a Global CEO Award for a successful brand launch. Earlier in his career, he worked as Group Product Manager at Britannia Industries from March 2008 to August 2009.
Before that, he spent nearly nine years at TVS Motor Company between 1999 and 2008, where he held several roles including Assistant Manager Consumer Insights, Brand Manager for TVS Victor, Area Manager Sales and Service for West Bengal, and later Head of Marketing for the Indonesia market, where he helped lead the company’s market entry and brand launch.
