CARE Hospitals has appointed Abhinav Joshi as Hospital Chief Operating Officer (HCOO) at its Banjara Hills facility in Hyderabad. In his new role, Joshi will oversee hospital operations, administration, and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening patient care and improving operational efficiency.

Before joining CARE Hospitals, Joshi served as Vice President Operations at Sahyadri Hospitals in Pune from April 2025 to February 2026. During this period, he was responsible for overseeing operational strategy and strengthening administrative processes across the organisation.
Prior to this role, Joshi served as Assistant Vice President Operations at Sahyadri Superspeciality Hospital from April 2021 to July 2025, where he managed hospital operations and worked on improving efficiency and coordination across departments. Earlier, he held the position of General Manager Operations at the same hospital from November 2019 to April 2021, overseeing operational planning and ensuring the smooth functioning of hospital services.
Joshi also served as Regional Head Operations West at Motherhood Hospitals from October 2018 to November 2019, where he managed operations across multiple facilities and worked to strengthen service delivery in the western region. From July 2017 to October 2018, Joshi was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at HCG Hospitals in Ahmedabad and Rajkot, overseeing profit and loss responsibilities while leading operational and business development initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he worked with HCG Multispecialty Hospital in Ahmedabad for over six years, serving as Centre Manager from November 2012 to February 2017. Joshi also held the role of Operations Manager from September 2010 to October 2012, contributing to the operational management of the hospital.
Joshi began his leadership journey in hospital management as Deputy Manager Marketing at Wockhardt Hospitals in Surat from November 2008 to September 2010, where he worked on business development, corporate partnerships, and consultant relationships.
