If you used to work at Zomato, whether you chose to move on, or I was the one who asked you to leave, this is for you.
I know that for many of you, Zomato didn't have the environment, or the leadership you needed at the time. But I know for sure, that you loved being at Zomato,…

Goyal highlighted how Eternal, the parent company of Zomato, has evolved from its earlier, more chaotic days into a more organized entity. He noted that over 400 employees have already returned for their second or even third stint and are now doing some of their best work.
The expanded group now includes businesses like Zomato, Blinkit Quick-Commerce, Blinkit Ambulances, District, Hyperpure, Nugget, and Feeding India, increasing the opportunities available to returning talent.
Goyal also addressed perceptions about his leadership following his recent move away from the CEO role at Eternal, emphasizing that titles are secondary and that he remains deeply involved in the company’s direction.
The move has sparked conversation in corporate circles about hiring practices and the value of boomerang employees, Those who leave and later returN, a trend gaining traction in India’s startup and tech sectors.
In the end, Goyal also shared the announcement on his LinkedIn, reinforcing his open call and signalling that the company values both its past contributors and future collaborators.
