Kaustubh Chandra has stepped down from his role as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Airtel Business, ending a five-year stint that saw the brand navigate major shifts in the enterprise telecom market.
He announced the same in a LinkedIn post.
Chandra’s departure was confirmed in January 2026, with the executive citing his decision to pursue new opportunities outside the company. The change comes at a time when Airtel Business has been strengthening its presence in areas such as cloud solutions, connectivity services, and digital transformation for enterprises.
During his tenure, Chandra has overseen a broad range of marketing initiatives at Airtel Business, a unit of Bharti Airtel focused on serving corporate and enterprise customers.
Before joining Airtel Business in 2021, Chandra had built a diverse marketing career across sectors. His experience spans brand building, strategic communication, and customer engagement across consumer and business segments.
The departure has prompted reflections within industry circles on the evolving role of marketing leadership in B2B tech and telecom companies. As enterprises increasingly look for partners that can support digital transformation, marketing teams at brands like Airtel Business have had to balance technical differentiation with clear, customer-centric storytelling.
