Solitario, the Indian jewellery brand, has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) to launch a diamond jewellery collection inspired by the Tom & Jerry franchise and the DC Universe. The collaboration marks Solitario’s entry into licensed pop-culture jewellery using lab-grown diamonds, combining ethical luxury with fan-driven designs.

The collections, unveiled at a Mumbai launch event, include more than 20 handcrafted pieces featuring characters and motifs from both franchises. Designed over six months, the jewellery is crafted from 18K vermeil gold and micro-pavé diamonds, using techniques such as 3D character modelling and engraving.

The Tom & Jerry line includes earrings, pendants, bracelets, and rings intended for everyday wear, while the DC Universe range features pieces inspired by iconic superheroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash. Industry experts note that the collaboration is among the first in India to bring globally licensed pop-culture content into the fine jewellery segment, especially with lab-grown diamonds, which are gaining traction among environmentally conscious consumers.

The launch event in Mumbai was attended by brand representatives, celebrities, and influencers, highlighting the growing trend of entertainment-branded merchandise moving into the premium lifestyle space in India.

Speaking at the launch, Ricky Vasandani, Managing Director of Solitario, said “This collaboration is the ultimate fusion of purpose and pop culture. We are not just creating jewellery; we are embedding the pure, ethical brilliance of lab-grown diamonds into the timeless stories of DC Universe and Tom & Jerry. Solitario’s Telos, its ultimate purpose, is to democratize luxury with a clear conscience. By partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP), we are giving fans a guilt-free way to wear their fandom, proving that the most sustainable luxury can also be the most fun and aspirational.”
