YouTube TV will introduce a new subscription structure in early 2026 that breaks its channel offering into more than 10 genre-specific packages. The shift marks a significant change to the platform’s long-running model and reflects YouTube’s effort to give subscribers more control over what they pay for.
One of the largest additions will be the YouTube TV Sports Plan, which will group major broadcast networks with sports channels including FS1, NBC Sports Network and the full slate of ESPN properties, including the forthcoming ESPN Unlimited service. NFL Sunday Ticket and RedZone will remain optional add-ons. Features such as unlimited DVR, multiview and key plays will continue to be included.
The new plans will sit alongside YouTube TV’s existing 100-plus-channel base package, with subscribers able to mix categories such as sports, news, family and entertainment depending on preference. The restructuring underscores the platform’s strategy to simplify its offering while maintaining flexibility around pricing and content mix.
YouTube says additional details on the new plans will be announced closer to launch in 2026.
