Food delivery giant Zomato has rolled out a brand-new AI-powered hotline 89200 89200 to make it much easier for people to join the platform as delivery partners.

Traditionally, becoming a delivery partner on Zomato involved multiple steps filling forms, uploading documents, and waiting for verification. Now, a simple phone call can start and complete most of that process in under 30 minutes using WhatsApp.

Here’s how it works:
A prospective delivery partner calls the hotline number.
The AI system initiates a WhatsApp-based onboarding flow.
With just basic ID proof, the person can complete background checks and verification quickly often in 15–20 minutes.

Zomato says the response has been strong; the hotline has been receiving over 40,000 calls every week, showing how many people are looking for flexible earning opportunities in the gig economy.

According to the brand their aim with this AI-powered system is not just speed, but also easy access. Many delivery partners today value flexibility, weekly payouts, and simpler entry processes that don’t require lengthy paperwork. Zomato’s new hotline blends technology with convenience to support this demand.

With the new hotline, Zomato hopes more people, especially in smaller cities and towns can easily join as delivery partners and begin earning fast, without paperwork headaches. The move shows how tech is reshaping gig work and lowering barriers for job seekers in India’s expanding digital economy.
