360 ONE has appointed Aashish Agarwal as Chief Executive Officer of the 360 ONE WAM Group, where he will work with the firm’s founders to drive the next phase of the business.
As part of the leadership changes, Karan Bhagat, currently Managing Director and CEO, will take on the role of Vice Chairman while continuing as Managing Director. He will focus on group strategy, capital allocation and key client and institutional relationships.
Yatin Shah, Co-Founder of 360 ONE, will continue to lead the firm’s wealth management business, which has been a core part of the group’s growth over the past decade.
The new leadership structure is aimed at strengthening 360 ONE’s three business verticals — Wealth Management, Asset Management and Capital Markets — while bringing these capabilities together under a unified platform for both families and institutions.
According to the company, the structure will allow clients to access the broader 360 ONE ecosystem through an integrated approach, combining the group’s capabilities across its different businesses.
The leadership transition also comes as 360 ONE looks to expand its scale alongside India’s economic growth. The company said it aims to build a large, sophisticated domestic financial institution capable of serving the evolving needs of India’s major capital allocators.
Through the new structure, 360 ONE plans to strengthen its position across wealth management, asset management and capital markets while expanding its ability to serve high-net-worth families and institutional investors.
Commenting on the announcement, Karan Bhagat said, “I am extremely excited to continue to build and accelerate the 360 ONE platform, especially at this stage of our country’s journey. Over the last 18 years, we have built 360 ONE into a trusted partner for India’s wealth creators.”
He further added, “This structure lets each of our three businesses be led with sharper focus while we operate as one Group. Aashish brings exceptional financial services depth and an owner’s mindset to building businesses, and along with the founders, will drive the Group’s next phase of growth.”
Aashish Agarwal said, “I am delighted to be joining 360 ONE. Karan and Yatin have built an exceptional franchise over 18 years, and I look forward to working closely with them to build an Indian financial institution of enduring scale and global standing. India’s wealth creation story is still early, and as clients and family offices grow more sophisticated, their needs increasingly span investing, capital raising and strategic advice.”
He further added, “Bringing Wealth Management, Asset Management and Capital Markets together allows us to serve those needs end to end, as one Group.”
