Ranveer Singh has joined Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta as their first-ever brand ambassador in India, bringing the actor on board as the eyewear brands look to strengthen their presence across fashion, culture and technology.
The association brings together Ray-Ban’s legacy in eyewear and Meta’s technology, with Ranveer representing both the brand’s classic sunglasses and its AI-powered smart glasses.
As part of the partnership, Ranveer will feature in campaigns showcasing Ray-Ban’s signature frames and Ray-Ban Meta glasses. The latter combine traditional eyewear with features such as hands-free calling, music and podcast streaming, and access to Meta AI, allowing users to perform everyday tasks without reaching for their phones.
The glasses are also receiving regular software updates, with new AI features and app integrations expanding their functionality over time.
The campaign featuring Ranveer uses different visual styles to reflect his on-screen versatility and distinctive fashion choices. It moves between Ray-Ban’s classic designs and the newer Meta range, positioning both as accessories for personal expression and everyday use.
The partnership builds on Ranveer’s existing association with Meta, with the actor having collaborated with the technology company on multiple occasions. The latest announcement extends that relationship to Ray-Ban, bringing fashion-led brand building and wearable technology together under the same campaign.
The collaboration centres on the theme “Frame Your True Self”, encouraging consumers to embrace their personal style while exploring the functionality of AI-powered eyewear.
Speaking on the association, Ranveer Singh says, “Ray-Ban has always stood for individuality, and that is something I have connected with for as long as I can remember. Style, for me, has never been about following a fixed formula – it is about instinct, mood and having the freedom to express every version of yourself. A combination of these iconic styles and cutting-edge technology with Ray-Ban Meta, makes this partnership feel so natural.”
He further added, “Ray-Ban’s incredible legacy of people who have done things their own way along with Meta’s vision of building AI glasses for everyone – I’m excited to be a part of that story in India.”
