Bharti Airtel has increased its postpaid tariffs by Rs 50 across its existing plan slabs, with the revised prices coming into effect from October 8, 2026. The hike translates into an increase of around 3% to 11%, depending on the plan, with Airtel also adding one complimentary international roaming trip per SIM every year.
The telecom operator’s entry-level individual postpaid plan will now cost Rs 499 per month, up from Rs 449 earlier. The revised plans also introduce an annual international roaming benefit, which Airtel has valued at around Rs 2,000.
Under the revised pricing structure, Airtel’s two-SIM family plan will increase from Rs 699 to Rs 749, while the three-SIM plan will move from Rs 999 to Rs 1,049.
For four-SIM family plans, the monthly rental will rise from Rs 1,199 to Rs 1,249 and from Rs 1,399 to Rs 1,449, depending on the plan. The five-SIM family plan will increase from Rs 1,749 to Rs 1,799.
While the absolute increase is Rs 50 across the slabs, the impact is considerably higher on the lower-priced plans. The entry-level Rs 449 plan, for instance, will see an increase of around 11% to Rs 499. At the higher end, the Rs 1,749 plan will rise to Rs 1,799, translating into an increase of around 2.8%.
Existing Airtel postpaid customers will be moved to the nearest higher plan within a month of the revised tariffs taking effect, according to company sources cited by PTI.
The revised plans continue to include Airtel’s existing postpaid benefits, including unlimited data and calling, along with 5G Fast Lane priority access and network-level protection against spam and fraudulent links.
Customers will also continue to receive entertainment subscriptions and access to Airtel’s Postpaid Advantage Club, which offers experiences such as comedy shows, movie premieres and concerts.
Airtel’s revised postpaid plans will be available from October 8, 2026, marking another step in the telecom industry’s ongoing shift towards higher-value plans and stronger monetisation of premium connectivity services.
