InMobi has named Abhishek Jha as its new Director and Head of Advertising, strengthening its leadership team as it sharpens focus on expanding its advertising business in India. With more than 12 years of experience spanning digital advertising, media sales, e-commerce and client growth, Jha steps into the role with a mandate to accelerate the company’s market presence and deepen its advertiser partnerships. He shared news of the move through a LinkedIn post.
Jha joins InMobi after serving as Industry Manager for Streaming, Gaming and Technology at Snap Inc. between August 2023 and February 2026. Prior to that, he held multiple leadership roles at Meta. As Vertical Lead for D2C Retail and CPG from March 2022 to August 2023, he drove growth across e-commerce, retail and consumer goods categories, while representing the company at major global forums. Earlier, as Client Growth Partner for Media and Entertainment from November 2018 to March 2022, he scaled portfolio revenues significantly, incubated new sub-verticals and earned the global ‘Power of Partnerships’ award.
Before his tenure at Meta, Jha worked with HT Media as Regional Sales Manager, leading North India’s digital sales operations and building new revenue streams. He also served as Senior Manager – Digital Ad Sales at Snapdeal, where he managed seller advertising functions and key brand partnerships. Earlier in his career, he was Marketing Manager at HT Media, overseeing brand initiatives across ATL and BTL campaigns and driving performance measurement strategies.
In his new role at InMobi, Jha is expected to leverage his cross-platform expertise and deep industry relationships to further strengthen the company’s advertising portfolio and scale its growth ambitions in the Indian market.
