Tinder Launches ‘School of Swipe' In India To Offer Dating Tips & Resources For Young Indians

Tinder has always been a place to meet someone new and learn a bit about yourself along the way. Now, Tinder in India is taking that further with the launch of School of Swipe, a digital resource that helps young daters handle the ups, downs, and what do I text next? moments of modern dating.

Open to everyone, this mobile-first microsite works like a guide that supports you whether you’re setting up your first profile, trying to understand emotional cues, or figuring out how to move things offline safely. And with 26% of young Indians according to the brand are already looking at  online resources to understand the more confusing parts of dating, the timing makes sense for a platform that’s simple, accessible, and  judgment-free.

Informed by insights from Yuvaa and Dr. Chandni Tugnait, Tinder’s relationship expert in India, and shaped by real experiences from young people across the country, the platform reflects how this generation dates, flirts, feels, and connects both online and in person

School of Swipe is built on insights from Yuvaa, guidance from Dr. Chandni Tugnait, and real conversations with young people across India. It brings together practical tools  from tips on boundaries and emotional clarity to a Red Flag–Green Flag Quiz, a Dating Dictionary, and simple resources on consent and safety in multiple languages.

“At Tinder, we’re constantly reimagining what safe and social dating looks like for every new generation of singles. With resources like School of Swipe and features such as Double Date, we’re making it easy, fun, and low-pressure for people to connect with confidence and define what they want, without judgment.

Exploration is what makes Tinder different; every time you open the app, there’s a chance to meet someone new, learn something unexpected, or even discover a new side of yourself. Through School of Swipe, our goal is to help young daters approach every match, and every moment, with mindfulness, safety, and self-assurance,says Aditi Shorewal, Communications Lead, Tinder India and Korea.”

“Dating is as much about your head as your heart, says Dr. Chandni Tugnait. When emotions and boundaries align, you create space for relationships that feel natural and nourishing. Boundaries are not rejection, they’re self-respect. Her insights flow through the microsite, encouraging daters to use humour as an emotional reset, journaling as a tool for reflection, and small self-care rituals as a way to rebuild confidence after setbacks.”
