adidas Originals has announced its first-ever India co-created sneaker with brand ambassador Ranveer Singh, marking a significant milestone for the brand in the country. The limited edition drop reimagines the iconic Superstar silhouette through Singh’s personal expression, positioning India more prominently within the global sneaker and streetwear conversation.
The collaboration brings a distinctly local narrative to one of adidas Originals’ most recognisable global franchises. Designed as a hyperlocal interpretation of the Superstar, the sneaker reflects Ranveer Singh’s personality, merging his bold public persona with cultural symbolism rooted in identity and self-expression.
Recognised for his high-energy performances and distinctive style in Indian cinema, Ranveer Singh lends his creative influence to the design, which draws inspiration from the Royal Bengal Tiger his spirit animal. The shoe features a black-and-white base, tiger-inspired detailing on the signature three stripes, a bespoke “Ranveer Singh” insignia, and jewel-like accents that add texture and depth to the silhouette.
The sneaker is introduced through a cinematic campaign set in an urban jungle, where instinct and expression collide. At its centre is Ranveer Singh, portrayed in a world that balances chaos and control, reflecting the duality of precision and freedom. The storytelling aligns with the design philosophy, reinforcing themes of originality and self-expression.
The adidas Originals Ranveer Superstar is priced at INR 11,999 and will be available from April 24, 2026 across select adidas Originals stores, adidas.co.in, and Myntra.
