Scaler has launched #NotDoneAI, a digital film featuring comedian and writer Biswa Kalyan Rath that examines the risks of relying on AI-generated outputs without fully understanding how they work.

Created by Emplace HQ, the campaign uses humor to explore the concept of “vibe coding”, a term often used to describe building products or writing code through AI prompts without a deeper understanding of the underlying logic.

In the film, Biswa attempts to create a food delivery startup using AI. As he issues a series of increasingly vague prompts, the platform produces unintended and often absurd results. In one instance, a request to deliver food from restaurants to customers results in a service that delivers only biryani, regardless of what was ordered. Subsequent attempts to fix the system led to further complications.

The campaign uses these scenarios to illustrate the limitations of relying solely on AI-generated responses and highlights the importance of human judgment and technical understanding when using AI tools.

According to Scaler, the film is aimed at professionals navigating an increasingly AI-driven workplace, where speed and automation are often prioritised. The campaign argues that while AI can accelerate execution, expertise and contextual understanding remain essential for building effective products and solutions. The company said the film received more than 4.5 lakh views within 24 hours of its release.

Commenting on the campaign, Rahul Kartikeyan, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Scaler, said, “We are living through a moment where anyone can build something with AI, and that’s genuinely exciting. But we are also seeing people mistake faster execution for deeper understanding.” 

He further added, “The idea behind this film came from that observation. Biswa brings a unique ability to find humour in everyday situations, making him an effective voice for a conversation that many professionals can relate to. AI is a powerful tool, but understanding remains the real advantage.”
