Tata Starbucks has unveiled a revamped Starbucks Rewards programme in India, introducing a new Reserve membership tier alongside enhanced benefits across its existing Green and Gold tiers. The redesigned loyalty programme is aimed at offering customers faster rewards, more personalised experiences, and exclusive benefits as the coffee chain looks to strengthen long-term customer engagement.
Under the updated programme, members will now earn one Star for every Rs 10 spent. Customers in the Gold tier will earn Stars 1.2 times faster, while the newly introduced Reserve members will earn 1.3 times faster, allowing them to unlock rewards more quickly. Tata Starbucks has also lowered redemption thresholds, making it easier for members to redeem rewards and access benefits sooner.
The new structure comprises three membership levels Green, Gold, and Reserve. While Green remains the entry-level tier, customers can upgrade to Gold by earning 1,000 Stars within a year. The newly launched Reserve tier is designed for the brand’s most loyal customers and requires 5,000 Stars in a year. Reserve members will receive a personalised black membership card featuring their name and the year they joined the programme, along with premium privileges.
Beyond faster earning and redemption, the revamped programme introduces several new benefits across different membership levels. These include personalised offers, birthday rewards, milestone celebrations, Double Stars Days, member-exclusive promotions, and Free Customized Mondays, where members can enjoy one complimentary beverage modification on handcrafted drinks. Higher-tier members will also gain access to exclusive merchandise, curated coffee experiences, special events, and other premium experiences.
The updated Starbucks Rewards programme is now available through the Starbucks India mobile app and across Tata Starbucks stores nationwide. The company currently operates more than 500 stores across over 80 cities in India, making it one of the country’s largest premium café chains.
