Apple has increased the prices of its Apple Music and Apple One subscription plans in India, making its music streaming service and bundled offerings more expensive for both new and existing subscribers. The revised pricing is now live on Apple’s platforms and comes nearly four years after the company’s last major subscription price revision in the country.

The price revision impacts all Apple Music subscription tiers Student, Individual and Family while Apple One bundles have also become costlier. The move follows similar price increases rolled out by Apple in several global markets, including the US, UK and parts of Europe.

Here’s What Apple Music Costs Now

Under the revised pricing:

Plan Old Price New Price
Student Rs 59/month Rs 69/month
Individual Rs 119/month Rs 139/month
Family Rs 179/month Rs 229/month

The annual Apple Music Individual plan has also been revised from Rs 1,199 to Rs 1,390. Among all tiers, the Family plan has seen the steepest increase, rising by nearly 28%.

Apple has also revised the pricing of its Apple One subscription bundles, which combine services such as Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and iCloud+.

The new monthly prices are:

  • Apple One Individual: Rs 365 (up from Rs 295)
  • Apple One Family: Rs 499 (up from Rs 365)

These plans continue to offer bundled access to multiple Apple services at a lower combined cost than subscribing to each service individually. The India price hike mirrors Apple’s latest subscription revisions in international markets. Globally, the company has attributed the increase to rising licensing costs associated with music streaming. Apple Music’s last global price revision took place in 2022.
