Nestlé Munch Enters India’s Gaming Culture With Creator-Led ‘Hack The Crunch’ Campaign

Instead of a traditional ad film, Munch teams up with gaming creators to turn a common in-game snacking struggle into community-led content and creator challenges.

Nestlé Munch Enters India's Gaming Culture With Creator-Led 'Hack The Crunch' Campaign

Nestlé Munch has rolled out a new digital campaign, ‘Hack the Crunch,’ tapping into India’s rapidly growing gaming community through creator-led storytelling. Rather than relying on conventional advertising, the brand has partnered with some of the country’s popular gaming creators and streamers to address a familiar gamer dilemma: how do you snack without interrupting gameplay?

Built around this everyday gaming insight, the campaign encourages creators to demonstrate their own innovative “crunch hacks” that allow them to enjoy Munch while keeping both hands focused on the controller or keyboard. The initiative extends beyond creator content by inviting audiences to share their own snacking solutions, turning the campaign into a participatory community conversation.

Unlike scripted advertisements, ‘Hack the Crunch’ blends naturally into gaming streams and social media content. Gaming creators integrate the challenge into their regular gameplay, making the brand appear as part of the gaming experience rather than an interruption.

The campaign leans into a behavioural insight specific to gamers: many avoid snacks during intense gaming sessions because greasy fingers, one-handed eating, or frequent pauses can affect performance. By making this friction the centre of the campaign, Munch positions itself within an authentic gaming conversation instead of forcing product messaging.

Creators showcase different ways to eat Munch mid-game, encouraging audiences to recreate, improve, or invent their own “crunch hacks.” This user participation transforms the campaign from a one-way brand message into an interactive creator challenge that thrives across livestreams, reels, and gaming communities.

With ‘Hack the Crunch,’ Nestlé Munch joins a growing list of brands using gaming creators not merely as influencers but as collaborators who shape the campaign narrative through their own content and community engagement.
