Affordable food delivery app Toing has launched its Friendship Day campaign, ‘Pizza Squad Challenge’, an in-app activation designed to encourage users to celebrate the occasion by ordering food together. Running from July 30 to August 2, the four-day campaign is complemented by ‘Squad Steals’, a weekend of special offers on group-friendly meals available on August 1 and 2.
As part of the Pizza Squad Challenge, users are invited to complete a virtual 12-slice pizza by sharing an invite link with friends. Every successful invitation unlocks a pizza slice for both users and rewards each with ₹5 in Free Cash. Participants can continue inviting friends to complete the pizza, unlocking milestone rewards and earning up to ₹100 in Free Cash over the course of the challenge.
With the initiative, Toing aims to tap into the “squad culture” popular among Gen Z and millennial consumers by turning food ordering into a shared, interactive experience. The campaign is built around the idea that everyday moments spent with friends are worth celebrating, whether through virtual participation or real-life gatherings.
Alongside the in-app challenge, Squad Steals will offer group-focused deals across all Toing cities on August 1 and 2, with offers starting at Rs 29 on pizzas, burgers and rolls. The weekend promotion is designed to encourage casual get-togethers, from roommates ordering in to college friends meeting over a shared meal.
