For Raksha Bandhan, the quick-commerce platform Instamart has come up with a simple but thoughtful idea: the handle of its delivery bag can be detached and worn as a traditional Rakhi.
The campaign reimagines something delivery partners use every day and gives it a second purpose for the festival. The handle, which normally helps carry the bag, can be unbuckled and transformed into a Rakhi, making the delivery bag itself part of the celebration.
The idea also keeps the delivery partners at the centre of the campaign. Rather than creating a separate festive giveaway, Instamart has built the gesture into an object that is already closely associated with their daily work.
The execution has also caught the attention of consumers online, with users sharing the idea after noticing that the familiar Instamart bag handle could actually be removed and worn as a Rakhi.
