Mivi has appointed Nitin Yadav as Head of Public Relations, bringing a communications professional with more than a decade of experience across technology brands and PR agencies into a key role as the company prepares for its next phase of growth.
Yadav announced the move on LinkedIn, marking his transition to Mivi at a time when the Hyderabad-based electronics company is looking to diversify its portfolio beyond its established audio and wearable products. The appointment is particularly significant as Mivi prepares to enter the smartphone segment, putting its communications function alongside a major new category expansion.
Before joining Mivi, Yadav was associated with POCO India, where he served as Lead – Product and Corporate Communications from April 2024 to September 2025. His role at POCO involved communications across product and corporate narratives in the competitive smartphone category.
Yadav’s career has also included communications roles involving major smartphone and technology brands such as OPPO, Vivo and Huawei Technologies India. His agency-side experience includes stints with Avian WE, Genesis BCW, FleishmanHillard and Skateboard Media, giving him experience across both in-house and consultancy-led communications.
His earlier association with OPPO dates back to 2018, when he was appointed to lead the company’s PR function in South Asia.
For Mivi, the appointment therefore signals an effort to strengthen its communications function as it moves from being primarily an audio and wearable brand towards becoming a broader consumer technology player.
