Vijay Raj has stepped down from Unilever after a remarkable 26-year career, closing a journey that spanned continents, roles, and the evolution of consumer intelligence itself.
Raj, who most recently served as Executive Vice-President, Consumer Market Insights (CMI), announced that March 31, 2026, was his last day, describing his next phase as a “second innings” beyond the corporate world in his linkedin post.

Over nearly three decades, he held multiple leadership roles across India, Indonesia, Singapore, and the UK, taking on 11 different positions across five cities in four countries.
He described Unilever’s CMI division as “an institution with a very proud history” and “nothing short of a university,” underscoring the role it played in shaping not just his career, but his thinking.
