Wella Professionals has launched a new campaign film titled ‘Glow From Within’ to introduce the Illumina Color City Collection Mumbai Edition. The campaign presents hair colour as an expression of personal identity, highlighting the many moods of the modern woman through luminous, natural looking results designed to glow from within.
Inspired by Mumbai’s contrasts, ambition, creativity, and quiet strength, the campaign was conceptualised in house. It showcases three signature looks created by Wella India Ambassadors to reflect the city’s spirit. Produced by the Bombay Film Company, the film is set against iconic landmarks such as the Gateway of India, Flora Fountain, and the Bandra Worli Sea Link.
The campaign film showcases three distinct signature styles designed to reflect different facets of the modern woman. The Glam Glow look takes inspiration from Bollywood glamour, using neutral and cool brown tones to create a polished, camera ready finish.
Dreamer Glow reflects the city’s softer and more creative side, blending cool blondes with natural browns for an artistic, airy feel. Power Glow captures the confidence of working professionals, combining cool browns and soft blondes to convey understated luxury and elegance.
As per the brand, the collection is designed for Indian hair types and is powered by the violet base of Illumina Color, along with Microtones Technology and Microlight Technology. The formulation is intended to neutralise unwanted warmth, improve clarity, and create multi dimensional luminosity.
The Mumbai Edition is positioned as the first chapter of Wella Professionals’ city inspired collection, with future editions expected to highlight the distinct identities and individuality of women across different regions.
Commenting on the launch of the brand film, Pravesh Saha, General Manager, South Asia, Wella Company, said, “With Glow From Within, we wanted to celebrate the spirit, individuality and ambition of women in Mumbai.”
“This campaign is more than a product launch, it is a cultural expression of how hair colour can reflect personality, confidence, and self-expression. We look forward to expanding the City Collection and connecting with women through more city-specific narratives.” he added.
