HSBC Mutual Fund Asks Investors To Stay Consistent With SIPs With ‘#StayDiSIPlined’ Campaign

HSBC Mutual Fund’s #StayDiSIPlined campaign uses humour to encourage investors to stay consistent with SIPs through market ups and downs, keeping long-term investment goals ahead of short-term reactions.

You can be disciplined about waking up on time, hitting the gym, paying bills and showing up for work. But put a red number on a stock market screen, and suddenly all that discipline can disappear.

That contrast is at the heart of HSBC Mutual Fund’s new #StayDiSIPlined campaign, which encourages investors to stay consistent with their SIPs even when markets get bumpy.

Built around the line “Discipline for life. DiSIPline for the future,” the campaign plays with the word “disciplined” to put SIP right at the centre of the message.

The campaign film, created by Born Hi Digital, follows Arjun, a young man who takes his everyday routines very seriously. He wakes up before his alarm, keeps up with his gym routine even in the rain and takes parking far more seriously than most people probably should.

But when the market moves, that discipline suddenly takes a back seat.

The film uses this switch to make a familiar investing behaviour feel relatable: being consistent everywhere else, but reacting emotionally to short-term market movements.

The film ends with the line, “Baaki sab mein disciplined ho… but Di-SIP-lined nahi ho,” turning the campaign’s central idea into a simple reminder to stick with SIPs rather than letting market noise dictate long-term decisions.

HSBC Mutual Fund is taking the campaign across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, alongside digital, outdoor, print and on-ground activations.

The campaign is aimed particularly at millennials and Gen Z investors in the 25–45 age group, with the broader message centred on staying focused on long-term financial goals instead of reacting to every market movement.

Commenting on the launch, Ankur Thakore, Chief Business Officer, HSBC Mutual Fund, said, “Markets will always move up and down, but reacting emotionally can derail long-term financial progress.”

He further added, “With #Stay DiSIPlined’, we have tried to share this behavioural insight in a way that’s simple, relatable, and engaging. The goal is to help investors see SIPs as a consistent, disciplined habit, so they can stay focused on their long-term wealth goals.”
