Sprite is taking its love for spicy food beyond the usual food-and-drink pairing with ‘Sprite Truth & Spice’, an eight-episode digital series that marks the brand’s first move into the game-show format.
The show brings celebrities and creators together over spicy food, with each pairing taking on challenges while answering questions and getting into conversations that can get a little unpredictable.
The line-up includes comedian Aaditya Kulshreshth and travel creator Larissa D’sa, digital creators Shreya Kalra and Rishabh Jaiswal, and cricketer Arshdeep Singh and Samreen Kaur.
Other pairings feature music producer and singer-songwriter Garv Taneja with Nandini Nayal (Gini), actors and dancers Shantanu Maheshwari and Shruti Sinha, Varun Sood and Vihaan Samat, stand-up comedians Swati Sachdeva and Gurleen Pannu, and Nayani Pavani with Mehaboob Dil Se.
The format mixes spicy-food challenges with a truth-or-dare-style setup, giving the brand room to lean into confessions, banter and chemistry between the participants. Sprite Zero and Sprite also feature as part of the format, tying the drinks back to the spicy-food experience.
Two episodes will be presented in association with Tinder, bringing the dating platform into the series through conversations around connection and getting to know someone.
