Amul’s ‘Yellow Garb For Garba!’ Brings A Playful Twist To Navratri Day 5

Amul has marked the fifth day of Navratri with a colourful topical celebrating the festival’s yellow theme. Shared on the brand’s Instagram page, the illustration features two children dressed in yellow festive outfits, holding dandiya sticks and getting into the spirit of garba.

The topical carries the playful line, ‘Yellow garb for garba!’, bringing together the day’s designated colour and one of Navratri’s best-known dance traditions. The creative features Amul’s familiar mascot-style illustration and the brand’s signature ‘Amul – Taste ka Raas’ tagline.

Yellow is the designated colour for the fifth day of Navratri in 2026, which falls on October 15. The day is dedicated to Maa Skandamata, and yellow is associated with joy, warmth and optimism during the festivities.

Amul’s latest topical uses the colour as the centre of its creative, with the children’s yellow attire connecting the visual to the day’s tradition. Rather than relying on a conventional festive greeting, the brand uses a short, playful pun to link the colour with garba.

The post continues Amul’s familiar topical approach of using timely cultural moments and simple wordplay to create festival-led communication.
