Instamart has partnered with Duolingo for a nationwide campaign to address public spelling and grammar errors. The initiative uses InstaPrint, the instant printing service from Instamart, to identify and correct mistakes found on shop signs, street posters, and menu boards across various cities.
The campaign features Duolingo’s mascot, Duo the owl, acting as a grammar vigilante. Duo identifies common errors, such as misspelled saloons or incorrect punctuation on public displays, and uses InstaPrint to generate corrected versions on the spot.
These corrected prints are then pasted over the originals to restore linguistic order. Social media users have already begun sharing sightings of the campaign in action, with one user playfully stating, “Aab ayega na maja Bhidu.”
The company states that while the campaign uses a playful tone, its primary purpose is to demonstrate the practical efficiency of the InstaPrint service. The brand highlights several key use cases for the platform, such as urgent document needs for resumes, visa paperwork, and school projects. It also emphasizes the convenience of replacing last-minute posters without the usual scramble to find a physical print shop.
Instamart officially launched the InstaPrint service in 2025 across select metropolitan areas, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. The service allows users to order printed documents, posters, and everyday essentials directly through the app for instant delivery. The campaign taps into the internet’s interest in spotting grammar mistakes to show that even small everyday problems can now be solved instantly through technology.
