Mastercard has announced the global launch of ‘Lifestyle Navigator’, an AI powered travel and lifestyle concierge, in collaboration with MakeMyTrip. The solution combines MakeMyTrip’s travel marketplace and its GenAI trip planning assistant ‘Myra’ with Mastercard’s AI capabilities. According to the companies, the initiative aims to deliver highly personalized travel experiences along with access to a global network of curated offers.

The partnership aims to streamline the travel planning process by combining curated content with intelligent financial recommendations. Mastercard concludes that the launch of this solution in India reflects the country’s growing importance in the global travel and technology landscape.

The brand shares that this is the first time Mastercard has deployed this white-label platform globally, making India the first market and MakeMyTrip the first online travel agency partner to use the technology. The launch coincides with a period of rapid growth in India’s travel sector. The company cites the Mastercard Economics Institute’s Economic Outlook 2026, which projects India to lead major Asia-Pacific economies due to strong domestic demand and increasing digitisation.

The company explains that Lifestyle Navigator is designed to provide specific insights from specialists in food, culture, adventure, and retail across major global destinations. The tool goes beyond generic suggestions to help travellers discover ‘hidden gems’. Additionally, the AI intelligently recommends the most suitable payment products to help users maximise their benefits and savings.

Link to the campaign:

Rajesh Magow, Co-founder and Group CEO, MakeMyTrip, said, “Our AI-powered Trip Planning Assistant, Myra, has been developed to convert data-led insights into personalized experiences that are timely and relevant for each traveller. We are very happy to collaborate with Mastercard to power the trip planning experience with Lifestyle Navigator, to provide a smooth experience for our travellers. I am hopeful that our travellers will find value in what we are building together.”

Gautam Aggarwal, President, India & South Asia, Mastercard, said, “Travel is about the moments that make each journey special. With Lifestyle Navigator, we are entering a new era where discovery, planning and experiences come together through AI. By pairing Mastercard’s global network of offers and privileges with MakeMyTrip’s deep travel expertise, we’re harnessing AI and data intelligence in a way that is practical, trusted and deeply contextual – helping consumers make better decisions while enabling a more connected, intelligent travel ecosystem in India.”
