Blinkit has launched an in-terminal delivery service at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, marking a first for India’s airport ecosystem.
The service is currently live at Terminal 2 (domestic departures) and allows passengers to order essentials directly via the Blinkit app, with deliveries made within minutes to boarding gates, lounges, and food courts.
The initiative, launched in partnership with Adani Airport Holdings Limited, aims to eliminate the friction of airport retail—where time constraints and limited options often define the experience.
Travellers can now order from a wide catalogue of over 2,500 products, including phone chargers, snacks, books, baby care items, and travel essentials, all sourced from inventory within the terminal.
Deliveries are handled by a dedicated in-terminal team, ensuring compliance with airport security protocols while maintaining Blinkit’s promise of speed.
The company claims this is the first instance globally of a quick commerce platform operating fully inside an airport terminal, signaling a new frontier for instant delivery services.
