Eureka Forbes has appointed Varun Anchan as Head of Brand Communications and Content, as he moves from the agency side to an in house brand role after nearly 17 years in advertising and digital storytelling. In this role, he will now focus on shaping the brand narrative internally as the company strengthens its communication and content strategy for its next phase of growth.

With this move, Anchan transitions from building brands externally to shaping brand narrative from within, as Eureka Forbes looks to strengthen its communication and content strategy for the next phase of growth.
Anchan most recently served as Executive Creative Director at MullenLowe Lintas Group from January 2024 to April 2026, where he led integrated campaigns for brands including Mumbai Indians, Lipton, Knorr, Britannia, Axis Bank and Pears, with a focus on blending creativity with digital strategy.
Previously, he worked as Creative Lead at Studio X under VML from January 2023 to January 2024, contributing to campaigns such as Coke Studio 2023 and brand initiatives for Coca Cola India. He also held leadership roles at The Glitch between 2020 and 2022, where he worked on campaigns for Netflix, Amazon, OnePlus, Dream11 and others, winning multiple Abby One Show awards.
Between 2018 and 2020, Anchan worked as a creative consultant for brands like Flipkart and Legrand, leading digital campaigns and branded content initiatives. Earlier, he was Senior Creative Director at ScoopWhoop, where he helped shift the platform towards video led storytelling and brand partnerships.
He also held roles at Dentsu Webchutney as Creative Director and National Films Head from 2016 to 2017, and at The 120 Media Collective as Senior Creative Producer. Earlier in his career, he worked with CNBC-TV18, Overdrive India and HELLO! Magazine across photography, video production and content creation roles.
