Siddha Group has launched an election awareness initiative ‘Your Home Your Democracy’, aimed at encouraging voter participation by drawing a connection between homebuilding and civic responsibility. The campaign uses the idea of building a home step by step alongside shaping a democracy through voting, placing the message within a familiar, everyday context.
The communication is based on the parallel that both processes require participation, responsibility and a sense of ownership. By linking these ideas, the campaign attempts to make voting more relatable, positioning it as an action that directly influences the environment individuals live in.
The initiative extends Siddha’s existing Be Selfish CSR platform, which focuses on making informed choices for long term well being. Within this framework, the message Be Selfish Vote is used to present voting as a decision with personal impact, rather than only a civic obligation.
The campaign follows a phased rollout, starting with teaser communication and progressing to a broader reveal across platforms to sustain attention and reinforce the message. Through this approach, Siddha integrates civic awareness into its brand narrative, linking its focus on housing with themes of participation, responsibility and community engagement.

He further added, “Through the ‘Be Selfish. Vote.’ message, we aim to encourage individuals to view voting as a personal choice – one that directly influences their aspirations, security, and quality of life. As a responsible corporate citizen, we believe our role goes beyond building homes to fostering more aware, engaged and future-ready communities.”
