The Hosteller has partnered with TRENDS for a campaign that combines travel planning with destination-based fashion recommendations. The collaboration is built around the idea that many young Indian travellers plan their outfits alongside their trips, making travel and fashion closely linked decisions.

As part of the campaign, TRENDS has curated outfit suggestions based on different travel destinations featured across The Hosteller’s network of properties. The recommendations are designed to match the requirements of various travel experiences and weather conditions.

For beach destinations, the campaign highlights lightweight and breathable clothing suitable for warm coastal climates. Mountain locations are paired with layered apparel that can adapt to changing temperatures. Urban getaways feature versatile streetwear styles designed for city exploration, while slower-travel destinations are paired with comfortable, relaxed outfits suitable for extended stays.

The featured apparel comes from TRENDS’ latest holiday collection, which includes fashion options for women, men, and children. The retailer has a nationwide presence and offers a wide range of everyday fashion products across India.

Alongside the styling initiative, the two brands have launched a joint Instagram contest. To participate, users must follow both @trends.stores and @thehosteller, select a preferred look from the TRENDS lookbook and a favourite destination from The Hosteller’s travel offerings, and share them on Instagram while tagging both brands. Participants are also required to explain in their caption why they should win the holiday.

Five winners will receive a stay at The Hosteller along with a vacation wardrobe from TRENDS. All participants will also receive discount offers from both brands.

The Hosteller currently operates more than 70 hostels across 43 destinations in India and primarily caters to young, budget-conscious travellers. The campaign targets a similar audience segment, bringing together travel experiences and fashion choices through a single consumer engagement initiative.

Pranav Dangi, chief executive officer and founder, The Hosteller, said, “Travel has always been deeply personal. It’s not just about where people go, but how they experience those moments and express themselves along the way. Today, fashion naturally plays a big role in that journey, especially for young travellers who see travel as an extension of their personality and lifestyle.”

He further added, “The Hosteller x TRENDS collaboration brings together two worlds that genuinely resonate with this generation – experiential travel and trend-forward fashion. Through this partnership, we wanted to create something that feels aspirational, social-first, and exciting for our community, while making vacations more immersive and memorable.”

Minal Srivastava, chief marketing officer, TRENDS, said, “Fashion today goes beyond just the outfit it is deeply connected to experiences, self- expression, and lifestyle. With the TRENDS x The Hosteller collaboration, we wanted to bring together two worlds that naturally complement each other: fashion and travel.”
