Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt and founder of OFF/BEAT, has announced a new opportunity for founders who have experienced business failures and are looking to start again.
Instead of hiring traditional employees or interns, Aman is inviting entrepreneurs who have built companies before but were unable to make them successful. He shared that many successful founders have faced failures before finding their breakthrough.
Taking the message forward, OFF/BEAT put up a billboard outside ‘The Camellias’, one of the country’s most premium residential addresses, highlighting that many residents there have also experienced startup failures before achieving success.
Aman shared his own journey, saying he also tried multiple ventures before building boAt. According to him, every failed attempt helped him learn, improve, and eventually build the company he is known for today.
The initiative focuses on changing the perception around startup failures and recognising founders who have the experience, resilience, and willingness to build again. Aman believes that people who have faced setbacks often return with better clarity and stronger determination.
