Bengaluru-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) activewear brand BlissClub has raised Rs 160 crore in a fresh funding round led by Singularity AMC, with participation from existing investors Elevation Capital and Eight Roads Ventures. Founder and CEO Minu Margaret and her husband, Meesho co-founder Vidit Aatrey, also invested personal capital in the round, signalling confidence in the company’s next phase of growth.

The company said the fresh capital will be deployed to expand into new product categories, accelerate its offline retail expansion, strengthen product development and invest further in technology for its direct-to-consumer business.

Founded in 2020, BlissClub started as a women’s activewear brand focused on designing apparel suited to Indian body types and lifestyles. Over the past few years, the company has evolved into an omnichannel athleisure brand, expanding beyond leggings into a broader portfolio of apparel. Earlier this year, it also entered the menswear category as part of its growth strategy.

According to the company, BlissClub has grown its revenue by more than 60% year-on-year over the past two years and currently operates more than 40 retail stores across India. While the majority of its business continues to come from its own website and app, the brand has been steadily increasing its physical retail presence in cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune.

The latest fundraise comes as India’s athleisure market continues to expand, driven by increasing demand for performance wear that blends fitness, comfort and everyday fashion. For BlissClub, the new capital is expected to support its ambition of building a larger omnichannel lifestyle brand while broadening its product offerings beyond women’s activewear.
