Home Credit India has launched its Independence Day campaign #KhudParNirbhar, focusing on how financial independence is reflected in everyday decisions and personal milestones.
The campaign film features 10 people across different ages, locations, genders, and life stages, highlighting milestones such as buying a first two-wheeler, paying college fees, starting a business, renovating a home, and investing in agriculture.
The film begins with a 24-year-old woman from Kanpur talking about buying her first scooter. It then expands to feature people from different backgrounds sharing their own experiences of becoming financially independent.
Their individual stories come together towards the end of the film, presenting financial independence as a series of personal achievements rather than a single definition.
Through #KhudParNirbhar, Home Credit India is also highlighting its range of financial products, including two-wheeler loans, personal loans, consumer durable financing and loans against property.

Speaking on the campaign, Ashish Tiwari, Chief Marketing & People Officer, Home Credit India, said: “Independence has always been one of the most powerful ideas in the Indian imagination. But while we celebrate our collective freedom every Independence Day, there are millions of Indians experiencing their own moments of independence every single day. Whether it is buying something for the first time with their own money, starting a business, paying their education fees, or making a decision for their family, these moments carry immense personal pride.”
He further added, “With #KhudParNirbhar, we want to celebrate this everyday financial independence in a simple, honest, and deeply relatable way. This Independence Day, we celebrate those who are choosing to make their own financial decisions, live on their own terms.”
