Kewlani Group has launched its Independence Day campaign, ‘This Independence Day, Taste the Real Spirit of Celebration’, using food and everyday cultural moments to explore what brings people together.
Instead of focusing on conventional patriotic imagery, the campaign looks at India through familiar experiences such as shared meals, family traditions, and regional flavours. The film highlights how food connects people across different languages, cultures and communities.
The campaign also builds on the emotional storytelling approach used in Kewlani Group’s recent Mother’s Day communication. While that campaign focused on family, love and traditions passed between generations, the Independence Day film expands the idea to a broader sense of togetherness.
By placing food at the centre of the narrative, the campaign presents India’s diversity through the traditions and experiences people share in their everyday lives.

Praveen Kewlani, Director, Kewlani Agro Industries, said, “Independence Day is a celebration of what makes India truly special, our diversity, traditions, families, and the values we carry forward across generations. Food has always been an integral part of this cultural fabric and, at Kewlani, we have been fortunate to be part of Indian households for generations.”
He further added, “With this campaign, we wanted to celebrate that enduring connection and capture the spirit of India through the moments that bring us together. ‘This Independence Day, Taste the Real Spirit of Celebration’ is our way of celebrating the India we live, share and experience every day.”
Launching this campaign, Poonam Kewlani, Head of Marketing, Kewlani Agro Industries, expressed, “From a consumer perspective, we wanted to look at Independence Day through a lens that feels authentic, contemporary and emotionally relevant. Patriotism is not limited to grand gestures and it is also present in the everyday experiences, traditions and shared moments that define us as Indians.”
She further added, “Food naturally became the perfect expression of this thought because it transcends regions, generations and cultures. Through the campaign, we invite consumers to celebrate not just the occasion, but the togetherness and diversity that truly represent the spirit of India.”
