For Independence Day, The World at Jubilee Hills has turned the sounds of India into music, skipping the usual celebrity-led spectacle. Created by Chennai-based Be Positive 24 Innovation Design, the campaign brings together more than 50 sounds from across the country.
From rocket launches and passing trains to birds, bells, streets, people and musical instruments, the sounds come together in a melody inspired by Jana Gana Mana. The result is a creative take on India’s unity in diversity, with everyday sounds becoming part of one larger composition
When Everyday Sounds Become A National Anthem
The campaign swaps conventional Independence Day imagery for something far more familiar: the sounds people encounter every day. Trains, birds, school bells, temple bells, streets, people, and musical instruments are brought together to create a melody inspired by Jana Gana Mana.
The team recorded more than 100 sounds before selecting those that could work together musically. The film and sound went through more than 35 iterations and took nearly 100 days to complete, turning the idea into an extensive creative exercise.
For The World at Jubilee Hills, the campaign also reflects its focus on innovation. Sidharth Reddy Indukuri, CEO of The World at Jubilee Hills, described the idea as a simple yet emotional tribute to India on Independence Day.
Taking The Musical Tribute Beyond The Film
The campaign film went live on August 12, 2026, on The World at Jubilee Hills’ YouTube channel and is being amplified across the brand’s social media platforms. The campaign is built to extend beyond the film itself and reach audiences through digital channels.
From August 13, the campaign is being extended through an influencer-led activation, with creators and relevant social media pages joining the conversation. This gives the musical tribute a wider push around Independence Day.
Rather than relying on the usual patriotic advertising cues, The World at Jubilee Hills has built the campaign around listening. By combining different sounds from across India into a single musical composition, the brand uses sound to convey that many distinct voices can still come together as one.
