Redcliffe Labs has appointed Ramesh Krishnan as an Independent Director on its Board, effective August 2026.

The appointment comes as the diagnostics company expands beyond its existing pathology network and works towards building a more integrated healthcare platform. Redcliffe Labs currently operates 80+ labs and more than 2,000 collection centres across India and is expanding its capabilities across pathology and radiology, with technology and preventive healthcare forming key parts of the approach.

Krishnan brings more than three decades of experience across healthcare services, hospital operations, private equity backed businesses and multi geography healthcare operations. He is the Founder and CEO of Medagg Healthcare, a technology enabled platform focused on interventional radiology, and also serves as Executive Director at Rela Institute and Medical Centre.

He previously served as CEO and Head of Middle East and South Asia at Parkway Pantai, owned by IHH Healthcare. During his earlier stint with Fortis Healthcare, he oversaw operations across Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Dubai, Sri Lanka and Mauritius. He has also worked as an Operating Partner at Everstone Capital’s healthcare services platform.

Krishnan has served on more than twenty boards during his career, including Gleneagles Development, Continental Hospitals, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals and Sahyadri Hospitals. He currently serves as an Independent Director at Yatharth Super Speciality Hospitals.

His experience covers healthcare operations, acquisitions, post merger integration, governance, capital allocation and business transformation.

The appointment adds healthcare leadership experience to Redcliffe Labs’ Board as the company continues to expand its diagnostic services, invest in technology and build a more connected healthcare offering.

Aditya Kandoi, Founder and CEO, Redcliffe Labs, said, “Healthcare is moving beyond standalone diagnostic services towards integrated, technology-enabled care that enables earlier diagnosis, better clinical decisions and more proactive health management. At Redcliffe Labs, we believe the future lies in building a connected healthcare platform that combines pathology, radiology, AI-powered health insights and preventive care to improve health outcomes at scale.

He further added“As we build for this future, strengthening institutional governance is as important as expanding operational capabilities. Ramesh brings an exceptional combination of operating experience, strategic thinking and board-level leadership. Having built healthcare businesses, led complex integrations, partnered with investors and served on multiple healthcare boards, he brings an independent perspective that will be invaluable as we shape Redcliffe Labs’ next chapter of growth.”

Dheeraj Jain, Chairperson and Founder, Redcliffe Labs, said: “At Redcliffe Labs, we have always believed that building a lasting healthcare institution requires strong governance, diverse perspectives and independent oversight alongside operational excellence. As the company enters a new phase of growth, strengthening the Board with leaders who have built and governed large healthcare organisations becomes increasingly important.

He further added, “Ramesh brings a rare combination of operating experience, strategic insight and boardroom expertise across healthcare services, hospitals, investments and business transformation. His understanding of scaling healthcare businesses while maintaining strong governance standards will be invaluable as we continue building Redcliffe Labs into one of India’s most trusted integrated healthcare platforms.”

Speaking on his appointment, Ramesh Krishnan, Independent Director, Redcliffe Labs, said, “Redcliffe Labs has built an impressive diagnostics platform in a relatively short period of time and is now entering an exciting new phase of evolution. Across healthcare globally, we are seeing increasing convergence between diagnostics, technology, imaging and preventive care. Organisations that successfully integrate these capabilities will be better positioned to create meaningful value for patients and healthcare providers alike.

He further added, “I look forward to working with the Board and leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its governance, integrate new capabilities, scale responsibly and build a healthcare institution designed for long-term impact.”
