Mohr will take charge as Chief Medical Officer, while Roy will become Temple’s Head of Science. Goyal said, “Dr. Robert Mohr joins Temple as Chief Medical Officer” and “Dr. Avi Roy joins as Head of Science at Temple.”
Temple Prepares For Wearable Launch
Temple is developing a compact wearable designed to sit on the temple area of the head. The device is intended to continuously track cerebral blood flow and oxygenation levels in real time, with the company building an in-house science team around the technology.
Goyal said Mohr and Roy began testing the device for around two months after meeting him at a dinner in London. According to his post, “For the next two months, they wore Temple as their daily driver for tracking all their activities.” He added that they “pressure tested Entropy and the data that Temple can collect, with our science team.”
Their involvement later extended into Temple’s validation work, with Goyal saying, “They challenged our assumptions and poked holes in our vision.” He also said they “have even reviewed our first scientific manuscripts before submission.”
Longevous Founders Take On Temple Roles
Mohr brings nearly two decades of experience across emergency and longevity medicine, while Roy is an Oxford-trained biomedical scientist with experience in longevity science and business.
Longevous will continue operating as part of Temple, with the practice retaining its existing operations and client base. Mohr and Roy will continue to personally look after Longevous clients alongside their new responsibilities at Temple.
