Racold, the water heating brand from Ariston Group, has launched a new digital campaign ‘#BetterServiceThanSorry’, focused on encouraging consumers to adopt regular water heater maintenance instead of waiting for breakdowns or performance issues.
Built around the message Have You Looked Up, the campaign uses a series of four AI-generated films to highlight common situations where water heater care can be overlooked. The videos focus on maintenance areas including safety, heating performance and energy efficiency.
The campaign marks Racold’s first AI-led film initiative. Through the four-part digital series, the brand aims to highlight preventive maintenance and encourage consumers to check their water heaters before minor issues become larger performance or safety concerns.
Racold says water heater maintenance is often addressed only after a problem occurs. The campaign seeks to shift that behaviour towards regular servicing, covering aspects such as electrical safety, heating performance, energy efficiency, leakage and scale build-up.
As part of the campaign, Racold’s authorised service experts are offering a Water Heater Health Check designed to identify potential maintenance requirements. The inspection covers electrical safety, heating performance, energy efficiency, leakage and scale accumulation.
Consumers can book a preventive service visit for Rs. 290 under the initiative, with the campaign also offering 25% off on recommended spares and consumables. The campaign is being promoted across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and targeted digital media in key Indian markets.

Commenting on the initiative, Mohit Narula, Managing Director, Ariston Group India, said, “Water heater care is often considered only when there is a problem. But like any appliance that plays an important role in our daily lives, regular attention can help maintain its safety, performance and reliability over time.”
He further added, “At Racold, we believe our responsibility extends beyond providing the product to helping consumers understand how to care for it better. With #BetterServiceThanSorry, we want to make water heater care a more informed and conscious part of appliance ownership, so consumers can enjoy greater comfort, convenience and peace of mind.”
