OffBeat Studios, the newly launched venture by Aman Gupta, has raised ₹100 crore in a seed funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, marking one of the largest early-stage raises in India this year.
The development comes just weeks after Gupta unveiled OffBeat Studios in March, following his transition to a non-executive role at boAt. The company is reportedly valued at around ₹450 crore, according to industry estimates.
Announcing the fundraise, Gupta emphasised that the decision was driven by strategic alignment rather than financial necessity. In a LinkedIn post, he noted that he was looking for partners who could bring a global perspective and expertise in technology and artificial intelligence.
While OffBeat Studios has generated significant buzz, details about its business model, offerings and team remain limited. Gupta has not yet disclosed the exact focus areas, though the venture is expected to operate at the intersection of technology, AI and content.
