Anushka Sharma has acquired a minority stake in sports footwear and apparel company Agilitas Sports, expanding her association with the business after cricketer Virat Kohli joined the company as an investor and business partner last year.
According to reports, Sharma will also work closely with the company on developing a yoga-wear line under One8, the sportswear and athleisure brand associated with Kohli. Agilitas Sports co-founder and CEO Abhishek Ganguly confirmed that Sharma has partnered with the company through a capital investment while also contributing strategically to the expansion of its yoga-wear business. Financial details of the investment, however, have not been disclosed.
The development further strengthens the growing partnership between the celebrity couple and Agilitas Sports, a company founded by former Puma India executives Abhishek Ganguly, Amit Prabhu, and Atul Bajaj in 2023. The startup has been positioning itself as a homegrown sportswear and athleisure platform focused on building Indian sports brands with global ambitions.
Virat Kohli had already taken a minority stake in Agilitas Sports in 2025 after ending his long-standing endorsement partnership with Puma. As part of that deal, Agilitas also acquired One8, Kohli’s sportswear brand, with plans to reposition it as an independent global sportswear label. Regulatory filings cited in reports suggested Kohli invested nearly ₹40 crore in the company for a minority stake.
Agilitas has been aggressively expanding its sportswear ecosystem over the last two years. Apart from acquiring One8, the company also acquired footwear manufacturer Mochiko Shoes, which manufactures products for brands such as Adidas, Skechers, and New Balance. The company additionally secured licensing rights for Italian sportswear brand Lotto in India as part of its larger strategy to scale across footwear, apparel, accessories, and sporting goods categories.
