Arnya Real Estate Fund Advisors has appointed Piyush Thakkar as Director – Investments as the firm looks to strengthen its investment leadership and expand its real estate credit platform amid growing activity in private credit and structured finance markets.
Thakkar brings more than two decades of experience across real estate credit, structured finance and risk management. In his new role, he will be part of Arnya’s senior leadership team and will focus on investment strategy and portfolio related activities.
Before joining Arnya, Thakkar was associated with Ionic Wealth & Asset Management, part of the Angel One Group, where he was a founding member and led the debt investment platform across multiple strategies.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than 20 years with Kotak Mahindra Bank and its group entities, working across real estate financing and structured investment transactions. His experience includes working with developers, sponsors and institutional investors on asset backed investment structures and credit focused deals.
