Badshah's Bad Boy Pizza Targets Rs 200 Crore Revenue, Plans 70+ Outlets By 2028

Celebrity-backed quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand Bad Boy Pizza, co-founded by rapper Badshah and F&B entrepreneur Karan Tanna, has unveiled an ambitious expansion roadmap as it marks its first year in business. The company aims to cross Rs 200 crore in annualised recurring revenue (ARR), expand to more than 70 outlets by 2028, and enter the UK and US markets by 2029, signaling its ambitions to become a globally recognised Indian pizza brand.

To kickstart this next phase of growth, Bad Boy Pizza will open five experiential flagship outlets by December 2026, including three in Mumbai and two in Surat and Ahmedabad. The expansion forms part of the company’s cluster-based strategy, which prioritises concentrated growth in key markets before entering new cities.

Unlike many new-age QSR brands that have built their businesses around food delivery, Bad Boy Pizza has adopted a dine-in-first model. The company said it remained dine-in only for its first 10 months of operations, helping it cultivate a loyal customer base and position itself as a destination dining experience rather than a delivery-first brand. Today, 95% of its revenue comes from dine-in customers, while its repeat customer rate exceeds 60%. The brand also achieved operational profitability at its flagship Lokhandwala outlet within two months of launch.

The company believes these operating metrics provide a strong foundation for expansion. It currently reports an outlet payback period of 15 to 18 months and is targeting 22–24% store-level EBITDA margins. According to the company, these economics have already generated more than 180 franchise enquiries from both domestic and international markets.

As part of its phased growth strategy, Bad Boy Pizza plans to operate 30 outlets across Western India by the end of 2027, targeting Rs 100 crore ARR before expanding into Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad through joint ventures and multi-unit franchise partnerships. International expansion into London and New York is expected to follow during 2028–2029.
