Bisleri International has renewed its association with the High Altitude Sports Foundation Ladakh (HAFL) as the Official Hydration Partner of the Ladakh Marathon for the third consecutive year.
The partnership places the packaged drinking water brand across one of India’s prominent high-altitude endurance sporting events, giving it an opportunity to engage with runners and athletes across endurance, fitness and outdoor sports.
As part of the association, Bisleri will provide on-ground hydration support across the marathon’s various race formats, including the 122 km Silk Route Ultra, 72 km Khardung La Challenge, 42 km Full Marathon, 21 km Half Marathon, 11.2 Km Run and 5 Km Run for Fun.
The partnership also includes category exclusivity and nomenclature rights, alongside Bisleri’s presence across hydration stations and runner support areas. The brand will also integrate sustainability initiatives into its on-ground association with the event.
Beyond the physical race infrastructure, the partnership will extend into digital and social media content. This will include race-day highlights, hydration and endurance-focused content for runners, as well as behind-the-scenes storytelling around the experience of running at high altitude in Ladakh.
Commenting on the association, Mr. Tushar Malhotra, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Bisleri International, said, “Ladakh Marathon is a true test of endurance, performance and resilience, making hydration an essential part of every runner’s journey. For Bisleri, our association with the marathon gives us an opportunity to champion hydration and connect with athletes and fitness enthusiasts who value endurance.”
Mr. Motup Chewang, Chairperson, High Altitude Sports Foundation Ladakh, said, “The Ladakh Marathon is not just a race, it is a celebration of endurance, community and the spirit of Ladakh. Having Bisleri International on board as our Official Hydration Partner for the next three years strengthens our ability to support runners across every category of the event, while also advancing our commitment to sustainable and responsible event management. We look forward to a long and meaningful partnership that benefits both our athletes and our local community.”
The renewed association comes as Bisleri continues to build its presence across Indian sporting platforms, particularly those linked to fitness, endurance and active lifestyles. For the Ladakh Marathon, the partnership combines hydration support across its race formats with brand visibility, digital storytelling and sustainability-led initiatives.
