CaratLane has onboarded the Bollywood actress Yami Gautam Dhar as its newest brand ambassador. According to the company, this partnership is anchored by a new marketing campaign titled “Heera Har Heere Ke Liye.”

The brand states that this slogan is intended to communicate that every consumer deserves a diamond that reflects their individual identity. In conjunction with this announcement, the company has released a curated product line designated as “The Yami Gautam Edit.”

Representatives for CaratLane indicate that the actress was selected primarily for her perceived authenticity and her self-made career trajectory within the Hindi film industry. The company claims that her public persona, which it describes as grounded and influenced by her upbringing in Himachal Pradesh, aligns directly with the brand’s philosophy regarding modern, lightweight jewellery. CaratLane asserts in its promotional materials that Gautam’s preference for substance over spectacle makes her a highly resonant figure for its target demographic.

The marketing narrative accompanying the announcement focuses heavily on shifting consumer habits away from storing fine jewellery in lockers for special occasions, promoting everyday wear instead. To illustrate this, CaratLane has categorised its product positioning around the actress’s distinct public styling profiles.

For traditional ethnic wear, such as sarees, the brand promotes a restrained aesthetic, highlighting pieces like a single diamond necklace or a lone bangle designed to complement rather than overpower the garment.

For professional environments, the company suggests polished, non-distracting items like refined chains and small diamond hoops. Finally, addressing the highly scrutinised celebrity ‘airport look,’ CaratLane positions its layered chains, slim ear cuffs, and index finger rings as accessories that elevate casual outfits while maintaining an effortless appearance.
