Dream Sports has elevated Pooja Sabharwal to Senior Vice President – Corporate Communications, marking a step up from her previous role as Vice President – Corporate Communications. Sabharwal announced the development through a LinkedIn post.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications at Dream Sports,” Sabharwal wrote in her announcement.
Sabharwal joined Dream Sports in August 2022 as Vice President, Corporate Communications and has spent more than four years with the sports technology company. In her new role, she will continue to lead the corporate communications mandate, with a focus on strengthening the company’s reputation, stakeholder engagement and corporate narrative.
Her elevation comes as Dream Sports continues to operate across sports, gaming and technology through businesses including Dream11, FanCode, DreamSetGo and DreamPay.
Before joining Dream Sports, Sabharwal spent nearly seven years at PayPal, where she served as Head of Communications from October 2015 to August 2022. Her experience at the global fintech company added to her background in corporate communications, reputation management and stakeholder engagement.
Earlier, she worked with Genesis BM, where she was a Partner for more than four years. Her career has therefore spanned both agency and corporate communications, with experience across technology, payments and digital businesses.
With the elevation, Sabharwal will continue to oversee Dream Sports’ communications function, building on her four-plus-year tenure with the company.
