India scripted history on Sunday night at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, defeating New Zealand by a commanding 96 runs to secure their third T20 World Cup title. The team posted a mammoth 255 for 5, the highest total ever recorded in a T20 World Cup final.

The innings was powered by Sanju Samson’s blazing 89, with Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma adding half centuries to maintain the momentum. Shivam Dube’s quick cameo further boosted the score, helping India set a challenging target. In response, New Zealand were bowled out for 159.

The triumph also carried emotional significance as India lifted a World Cup on home soil at the same Ahmedabad ground where they had faced heartbreak in the 2023 ODI World Cup final.

As a billion hearts erupted in celebration, the victory quickly spread far beyond the stadium. Social media was flooded with congratulatory messages, clever cricket puns, and celebratory creatives as brands joined the national moment.

From playful wordplay to sharp one liners, brands were quick to tap into the historic win and join the celebrations online. Brands across categories used clever cricket references, witty captions, and creative visuals to congratulate the team, turning the victory into a lively digital moment that resonated with fans across social media.

Here is how brands joined the celebration and marked India’s memorable victory.
