Herbalife India has partnered with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) as the Official Nutrition Partner for the Indian contingent at the Asian Games 2026, being held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4.
Under the partnership, Herbalife India will support Team India with nutrition aimed at athletes’ preparation, recovery and performance during the continental sporting event.
Ajay Khanna, managing director, Herbalife India, said the company would draw on its experience in sports nutrition to provide nutrition support to Indian athletes. He also said the partnership was intended to contribute to the wider sporting ecosystem and encourage healthier, active lifestyles.
P. T. Usha, president, Indian Olympic Association, said the support of partners was important as athletes prepared for the competition and welcomed Herbalife India as the official nutrition partner for the Indian contingent at Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
Herbalife India’s leadership team, including Akash Mehrotra, senior director – marketing, and Ratnesh Lal, senior director – public affairs, began supporting the Indian contingent at the athlete send-off ceremony held in New Delhi on September 8.
Alongside the partnership, the company has launched a national campaign across print and social media around the Indian contingent’s journey and the role of sports nutrition.
The Asian Games 2026 partnership also extends Herbalife’s previous association with the IOA. The company was earlier named the official nutrition partner of Team India for the Tokyo Olympics 2021 and the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.
The latest association places Herbalife India alongside the Indian contingent as athletes compete across disciplines at the 20th Asian Games.
