ixigo has launched native apps for its platforms ixigo Flights and Hotels, AbhiBus and ConfirmTkt within ChatGPT, enabling users to plan travel through a conversational interface. The integration allows users to search and compare flights, buses, trains and hotels in real time and then proceed to booking through ixigo’s platforms.
Users can access the services by entering prompts such as @ixigo, @AbhiBus or @ConfirmTkt within ChatGPT. The system supports natural language queries for travel discovery, including domestic and international flights, with real time pricing, availability and fare comparisons. It also provides options across nearby dates to help users identify lower fares based on flexible schedules.
The integration includes real time flight tracking, allowing users to check updates such as boarding gates, baggage belts and check in counters within the same interface. Hotel discovery is also supported through conversational queries, enabling users to explore options based on location, preferences and pricing before moving to booking.
Through AbhiBus, users can search and compare intercity bus options, including filtering by category, operator and schedule. The ConfirmTkt integration enables train search, availability checks and alternate route suggestions for confirmed tickets.
The platform continues to route final bookings through ixigo’s apps or website, maintaining transaction flow within its ecosystem. The rollout reflects ixigo’s focus on combining search, comparison and booking within a single interface, using conversational AI to streamline travel planning.
Speaking on the launch, Rajnish Kumar, Group Co-CEO and Aloke Bajpai, Group CEO, ixigo said, “We’re reimagining how travel planning, search and bookings can leverage horizontal AI platforms. By bringing ixigo apps to ChatGPT across ixigo, ConfirmTkt and Abhibus, over a billion monthly users of ChatGPT can now go from a simple question to a complete travel plan with real-time insights, live tracking and booking options- all within one conversation and in seconds.”
