Finding the right groom is one thing. Making sure he is wedding-ready is apparently another.
Jeevansathi and Gillette have teamed up for a playful outdoor campaign that splits the matchmaking journey into two parts finding the groom and grooming him for the big day.
The collaboration has taken over a billboard on Mumbai’s Western Express Highway, with two adjoining creatives delivering the punchline. The first, from Jeevansathi, reads “WE ‘FIND’ THE GROOM”, while Gillette’s adjoining billboard completes the thought with “WE ‘MAKE’ HIM GROOMED.”
The visual brings together the two brands’ roles in the wedding journey: Jeevansathi takes on the matchmaking, while Gillette brings the grooming into the equation.
The campaign was also shared jointly by the brands on Instagram. Gillette India captioned the post, “Found the one. Now let’s make him the one”, accompanied by grooming and wedding-related emojis.

Rather than treating the collaboration as two separate brand messages, the billboard turns the brands into complementary parts of the same story.
For Jeevansathi, the communication plays on its core proposition of helping people find a partner. Gillette then picks up the narrative at the next stage getting the groom groomed.
The collaboration also caught the attention of other brands in the comments, with several joining the conversation with their own playful takes on the groom-focused execution. The responses turned the post into a mini brand banter moment
Pantaloons joined in with a style-focused take, saying they’d “spark the style” for the groom.

Shopsy turned the groom’s wedding prep into a playful shopping moment.

Élan by Campus added a fashion-forward spin by promising an “effortlessly elegant” groom.

Campus Shoes played on the wedding theme with a cheeky “joota churai” reference.

Rawbare put its own grooming spin on the conversation with a “perfect shade” pun.

CARS24 extended the wedding narrative with a playful “ride” reference for the groom.

Chinese Wok used a food-themed pun, saying it would “spice up” the groom’s day.

Lal Sweets added a sweet-themed twist to the groom-focused conversation.

Avadh Sugar & Energy joined the banter with a sugar-themed wedding pun.

Airtel India extended the groom/wedding narrative with its own playful brand-led comment.

The result is a simple OOH idea built around one shared consumer moment rather than two disconnected product messages. The execution comes as brands increasingly use outdoor advertising not just for standalone communication, but for collaborations where the physical placement itself becomes part of the creative.
